Recently, during the SRH vs RR IPL 2026 Eliminator, he broke the 2012 IPL record set by Chris Gayle to hit 65 sixes in a single IPL season. The left-hander was also on the verge of breaking the fastest century in IPL. However, the RR batter fell on an unlucky score of 97.
