Vaibhav Suryavanshi's explosive 86 off just 31 deliveries helped India clinch a thrilling four-wicket win over England in a rain-curtailed third U19 Youth ODI. The young batter rewrote the record books by launching nine sixes - the most ever by an Indian in U19 ODI history - surpassing the previous mark held by Mandeep Singh (8).
India were chasing a revised target of 269 in 35 overs after the start was delayed due to a wet outfield.

Walking in with clear intent, Suryavanshi unleashed a brutal assault on the English bowlers, hammering six fours in addition to his record-breaking nine maximums. His early carnage saw India race past 100 inside eight overs, with 111 runs already knocked off when he was caught off Alexander Wade.
Suryavanshi, who had narrowly missed out on fifties in the first two matches, made this innings count, particularly tormenting Sebastian Morgan with two sixes in the third over and another pair of sixes and a boundary in Morgan's next. James Minto wasn't spared either, leaking 23 runs in the sixth over.
However, after Suryavanshi's dismissal, India faltered briefly, slipping to 199/6 in the 24th over. That's when all-rounder Kanishk Chouhan rose to the occasion. Having earlier picked up three wickets with the ball, Chouhan played a calm and composed unbeaten knock of 43, stitching together a match-winning 75-run partnership with RS Ambrish to see India home with 33 balls to spare.
Earlier in the day, England posted a competitive 268/6, courtesy of skipper Thomas Rew's unbeaten 76 off 44 balls and opener Ben Dawkins' fluent 62. Dawkins, along with Isaac Mohammed (41), gave the hosts a solid start with a 78-run opening stand. Ben Mayes also chipped in with a handy 31 as England built a strong platform before Rew's late fireworks propelled them to a challenging total.
The win gave India a 2-1 lead in the series and highlighted Suryavanshi's emergence as a powerful striker - a talent that first caught the eye during his stint with the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.
