PHOTOS: VVS Laxman's shirt and Team India's 'love' message for him

Kolkata, Oct 8: Indian players decided to have a bit of fun at the expense of one of the nicest guys to have played cricket - VVS Laxman. As rain delayed the start of the 3rd Twenty20 International between India and South Africa here at Eden Gardens on Thursday evening, the hosts' players thought of sending a 'Very Very Special' message to Laxman.

Laxman, the former India batsman and one of the most loved person, by his team-mates and fans during his playing days, was in the Star Sports studio at Eden Gardens for the pre-game analysis. The Hyderabadi appeared in a blue shirt, which had images of birds.

Impressed by Laxman's shirt, all Indian players lined up outside the dressing room and held out a paper which read, "Laxman we love your shirt". Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who is known to play pranks in the dressing room, was displaying this piece of paper.

Captain MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and all the members of the team and support staff were all smiles as the footage was shown Live on Star Sports TV. And soon they sought Laxman's reaction to it and he too reciprocated with a thank you, smilingly.

Recalling his playing days, Laxman said he missed being in the Indian dressing room. Thanks to rain and a wet field, Indian players unveiled some memorable moments for Laxman and many cricket fans.
