The unexpected intrusion happened during the Invincibles' run chase, precisely as London Spirit pacer Daniel Worrall was about to bowl the next delivery.

The small, swift fox darted across the pitch, prompting amusement from the crowd and commentators Eoin Morgan and Stuart Broad, who joked about how to safely escort the animal off the field without causing disruption.
