Put other sports at par with cricket: Bindra
Chandigarh, Aug 17, 2008: Abhinav Bindra, India's first individual gold medalist at the Olympics said that unless India proved its mettle in the ultimate sports arena, the cricket-mad nation will not be treated a major sports power.
Addressing a news conference in hometown Chandigarh Bindra said that Olympics sports require lot of support. Abhinav has been heaped with praise and cash awards. He has been awarded nearly Dollar400,000 in cash for his achievement.
