A video posted by a fan on Monday showed Kambli giving a thumbs-up gesture, offering a glimmer of hope amidst widespread concern. This comes shortly after a series of public appearances by the 52-year-old former cricketer, which had already sparked discussions about his health. At a recent event honouring his coach, the late Ramakant Achrekar, Kambli was seen struggling to maintain composure, further fuelling speculation about his wellbeing.

Vinod Kambli himself has been candid about his health struggles, revealing that he had a severe health scare a month ago due to a urine infection. In a heartfelt interview, he expressed gratitude for his family's unwavering support during this challenging time. "I am better now. My wife takes care of me a lot. She took me to three different hospitals and told me, 'You have to get fit,'" Kambli said. He also acknowledged his children, particularly his son Jesus Cristiano, for their role in helping him recover.

Recalling a harrowing episode, Kambli shared, "My head started spinning; I collapsed and fell down. The doctor told me to get admitted." Despite these challenges, he found solace in the visit of former cricketer Ajay Jadeja, whose gesture of friendship brought him comfort.

A figure synonymous with Indian cricket in the 1990s, Vinod Kambli has faced a series of personal and health-related challenges post-retirement. Fans and well-wishers continue to rally behind him, sharing prayers and messages of support on social media.

As the cricket world keeps a close eye on his recovery, Kambli's resilience and his family's support remain sources of inspiration. Updates on his condition are eagerly awaited, as fans hope for his swift return to better health.
