A constellation of stars gathered at the Shivaji Park in Mumbai for the Ramakant Achrekar memorial unveiling ceremony on Tuesday (December 3), which was spearheaded by the great Sachin Tendulkar.
Tendulkar, along with Sanjay Bangar, Paras Mhambrey, Praveen Amre, Sameer Dighe, Balbinder Sandhu - were seen together on a stage after the India legend unveiled the memorial along with Maharashtra's political leader Raj Thakre.

An ailing Vinod Kambli was also seen publicly for the first time since his health concerns. Sachin and Kambli, two childhood friends also shared a special moment during and after the ceremony.
Achrekar, who passed away in 2019, is revered as one of the greatest cricket coaches India has ever produced. He played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of numerous Indian cricketers, including Tendulkar and Kambli, both of whom trained under him during their formative years. The event was a tribute to his enduring legacy.
And during a questionnaire event, Vinod Kambli, although struggling due to his current health conditions, showed a glimpse of his flamboyance on the stage.
Vinod Kambli sang a Hindi Song to tribute Ramakant Achrekar. Although his voice broke, the facial language oozed flamboyance.
"Sar jo tera chakaraaye, Yaa dil duba jaaye - Aaja pyare paas hamaare Kaahe ghabaraay, kaahe ghabaraay," Kambli sang on the stage and then ended his short speech saying 'Love You Sir'.
MyKhel captured the moment which numbed the entire crowd present at the premises and the other dignitaries at the podium clapped. Sachin Tendulkar could also be seen clapping after seeing his childhood friend's effort.
Kambli had a health concern recently and the former Indian player has ailed tremendously following that. The flamboyant star of yesteryears needed assistance to walk, but the oozing confidence and flamboyance still remain pretty visible.
Apart from Kambli, Sanjay Bangar and others also shared their memories of Achrekar at the event. Sachin Tendulkar was the key focus and he also came up with some amazing stories related to Ramakant Achrekar.
