Virat Kohli and Cristiano Ronaldo in Google's 'Most searched moments of all time' video, Messi fails to find place

Virat Kohli is one of the biggest brands of the sports industry and it was proved once again when he featured in Google's 'Most searched moments of all time' video released on Monday, December 11. Shah Rukh Khan is the only other Indian to find place in the video.

In the video which has got close to 100 million views on social media platform X, Virat Kohli among the selected few sports personalities to feature. Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo can be seen scoring a goal for Portugal and following it with his iconic 'Siuu' celebration first. The Al Nassr forward, who has played for Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus in the past, is the 'Most Searched Athlete' of all time.

Virat Kohli 'Most Searched Cricketer' of all time

Los Angeles Lakers legend Lebron James features just before Kohli in the 3-minute-48-second-long video. The former India captain can be seen slamming a six over cow corner to complete his hundred while batting for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.

Other athletes to feature in the Google's 'Most searched moments of all time' in the last 25 years are - Tottenham Hotspur and South Korea captain Son Heung-min, tennis icon billie jean king, eight-time Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt, Serena Williams, Venus Williams and 2023 US Open champion Coco Gauff. Lionel Messi is one of the biggest name missing from the feature video.

Virat Kohli is the most searched cricketer in Google in 2023. He was searched for 16.2 lakh times approximately. India captain Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni follow him at second and third spots respectively. AB de Villiers, KL Rahul and Sachin Tendulkar also feature on the list.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have recently taken a break from white-ball cricket after India’s defeat in the final of the World Cup 2023. The duo will be back in action for the 2-Test series against South Africa.
