Virat Kohli announce second child with Anushka Sharma, Vamika's Brother Named Akaay

Virat Kohli announced the birth of his second child on Tuesday (February 20). The Indian batting stalwart has given birth to a baby boy with his wife Anushka Sharma.

Kohli announced the news on his Instagram account on Tuesday and urged for privacy to the fans. The newborn son has been named Akaay, as it was announced by Kohli himself. Akaay was born on February 15 as the player revealed.

"With abundant happiness and our hearts all of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay & Vamika's little brother into this world!" an Instagram post by Virat Kohli read.

"We seek your blessings and good wishes in this beautiful time in our lives. We request you to kindly respect our privacy at this time. Love & Gratitude. Virat & Anushka," it added.

Kohli withdrew from the Indian squad for the ongoing Test series against England due to personal reasons. There were many speculations but it can be revealed that the player wanted to be closer to his other half before the birth of the child. Kohli and Anushka already have a daughter together named Vamika, who was born in 2021.

Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma got married back in 2017. The pair has always been a closely knitted couple who have held each other in diversities. As the family grows bigger, the pair wished for privacy and respect amid the joyous moments.
