When Virat Kohli touched down in Hyderabad on January 21, for the Test series against England, he was all prepped up to make an impact in the opening encounter. However, the star cricketer was forced to withdraw from the first two Tests due to personal reasons.
His decision to pull out of the first two games came as a shock to the cricket fraternity. But the BCCI revealed that Kohli spoke to captain Rohit Sharma, team management and the selectors before leaving for something which needed his "presence and undivided" attention.

The veteran’s last social media post was on January 21, Sunday, just as when he landed in Hyderabad for the Test opener. After 10 days, he finally broke silence on social media by pitching in with a promotional post for his team 'Team Blue Rising' in E1 Series, on Instagram, heralding that things are slowly getting back to normal for him and that he might be ready to play the Test series against England.

The senior cricketer, who missed the first Test due to personal reasons, will also be skipping the second Test on February 2 (Friday). However, there is a strong chance of him getting back to the field in the third Test which starts from February 15 in Saurashtra. The champion must himself be raring to get back on the field after India's shocking defeat in the first Test.
