Virat Kohli copies Cristiano Ronaldo Siiiuu celebration after Siraj's wicket - Watch

Virat Kohli has taken the leaf out of Cristiano Ronaldo's celebration as the Indian stalwart was seen doing a mini-version of Cristiano Ronaldo's 'Siiuu' celebration in the ongoing World Cup 2023 match between India and Netherlands.

India taking on the Netherlands in the final group-stage match of the World Cup 2023. The hosts are already trough to the semi finals and are aiming to get nine victories out of the nine group stage matches, a feat which has been unheard of so far in the World Cup.

They have amassed a huge total of 410 while batting first as five Indian batters scored 50 or more runs. Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul went better and scored hundreds each in the match as India are staring down to their ninth consecutive victory.

And Indian bowlers made a decent start as Mohammed Siraj picked up Wesley Barresi in his first over of the match. KL Rahul completed the catch as Siraj drew first blood of the match, and after the wicket, Virat Kohli was seen doing the Siiuu celebration.

Siiuu is a celebration honed by Cristiano Ronaldo. The football icon does the trademark celebration where he does a mid-air pirouette and then exclaims Si, which means Yes in Spanish and Portuguese.

Mohammed Siraj, India's premier fast bowler has adopted the celebration and is seen doing the same celebration after picking up wickets. But it was Virat Kohli who emulated Ronaldo's celebration in Bengaluru, at least the mini version of that.

Kohli also did pretty well with the bat earlier. Although the batter couldn't score his 50th ODI hundred, he batted decently for his 51 off 56 balls and brought up his 5th fifty in this tournament.
