IPL 2024: Virat Kohli goes all local in his rant against Punjab Kings spinner Harpreet Brar, video goes viral

Virat Kohli was at his hilarious best as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) took on Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Monday, March 25, in the ongoing IPL 2024. A video of him going all local against Punjab spinner Harpreet Brar is going viral.

The incident happened ahead of the 13th over of Royal Challengers Bengaluru innings. As Harpreet Brar got ready to bowl the first delivery of the over, RCB batter Glenn Maxwell remained unmoved and signalled the left-arm spinner to stop.

A puzzled Harpreet Brar and the umpire turned around to check if something was wrong with the sight screen. It was then that Kohli in a very candid fashion suggested Brar to pause between his deliveries and allow Maxwell to breathe.

“Ruk jaa p****o, saans to lene de," Virat Kohli can be heard saying in the viral video. Have a look.

Harpreet Brar shone in the match with two wickets for just 13 runs in four overs. He picked the crucial wickets of Rajat Patidar and Maxwell. However, RCB managed to win the match by four wickets on the back of a thrilling finish from Dinesh Karthik who scored 28 unbeaten runs off just 10 balls.

Virat Kohli top-scored for RCB with 77 runs off just 49 balls. The innings consisted of 11 fours and two sixes. Kohli is currently the leading run-scorer in the IPL 2024 after match six. He has scored 98 runs in two matches at an average of 49.

"Abbey Saans to lene de usko," Virat Kohli was heard saying to Ravindra Jadeja in the IPL 2024 opener against CSK on Friday, March 22. Cameron Green was the batter alongside Kohli during that instance.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have lost and won a match each. They will next face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday, March 29.
