India player ditches team bus, opts for luxurious car after Sri Lanka victory

India registered a fantastic victory over Sri Lanka in the World Cup 2023 match on Thursday.

It was a clinical and dominating victory for Rohit Sharma and his team as they secured a 302-run win over a hapless Lankan side and thus cemented their place in the semi-finals.

Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer were the stars of the show with the bat, whereas Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami shone with the ball.

Kohli was excellent with the bat. The stalwart has scored 88 runs and narrowly missed out on a record-breaking 49th century at the Wankhede Stadium. Nevertheless, it was an elite performance from Kohli, who helped India to put the mammoth score of 357 while batting first against the Lankans.

And after his terrific outing with the bat, Virat Kohli decided to reach the team hotel in royal style. The 34-year-old ditched the team bus and instead returned to the hotel with his luxurious Land Rover Vogue, which has a price tag of over three and a half crore rupees.
