Two former India teammates of Virat Kohli have announced retirement from cricket.
Virat Kohli guided India to under-19 World Cup victory in 2008. Although Kohli's career has taken a magnificent path after that, it hasn't been that rosy for other players. And now, two of his former teammates have decided to hang their boots.

Kohli's under-19 teammates Shreevats Goswami and Iqbal Abdullah - who were key parts of India's under-19 World Cup win, have announced their retirement from first class cricket.
Former Bengal wicketkeeper Shreevats Goswami announced his retirement on Thursday. The southpaw represented his home state Bengal and played for Mizoram in the domestic tournaments last season.
He has also played for the likes of Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL. The 34-year-old was awarded as the Best Emerging Player in the IPL 2008 as well.
"Announcing my retirement from first class cricket. It has been an incredible journey on the cricket field, and it feels like the right time to call it off. It has been an honour and privilege to play this beautiful game for as long as I did, as well as represent various teams and IPL franchises," a statement from Shreevats read.
Left-arm spinner Iqbal Abdullah has also decided to retire from cricket on Friday. The former Mumbai player posted on his social media profile and announced his news.
"With heavy heart, time has come to say goodbye to this competitive game which gave me great recognition. Exposure and made me who I am today," a post from Abdullah read.
Abdullah has represented the likes of Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals in IPL. He was also a part of Mumbai's Ranji Trophy winning sides thrice, and won the IPL with the Knight Riders. Abdullah also picked 13 wickets in India under-19s triumphant World Cup campaign in 2008.
