Virat Kohli's signed jersey, batting gloves and Rohit Sharma's autographed bat attracted big bids for a good cause as KL Rahul's 'Cricket For A Cause' auction raised over Rs 1 Crore earlier in the week.
Indian cricketer KL Rahul and his wife, actress Athiya Shetty, recently hosted a successful 'Cricket For A Cause' auction, raising Rs 1.93 crores at an event, which took place in Mumbai.

The Cricket for Charity auction was organised to support the Vipla Foundation's mission of providing quality education to underprivileged children. The auction witnessed an impressive turnout and bidding as Kohli's jersey and gloves bagged the biggest amount.
Kohli's signed 2019 World Cup Team India jersey fetched Rs 40 lakhs, while his signed batting gloves worn during the 2019 WC earned Rs 28 lakhs. Rohit's signed cricket bat used in the 2023 ODI World Cup was sold for Rs 24 lakhs while his signed batting gloves fetched Rs 7.50 lakhs.
Apart from Kohli and Rohit, Mahendra Singh Dhoni's IPL 2024 bat, along with his signed gloves as well as Rahul Dravid's bat and Jasprit Bumrah's jersey fetched big amounts at the auction which also saw some international players' gear feature.

Jos Buttler's signed Rajasthan Royals Jerysey, Quinton De Kock signed wicket-keeping Gloves, Nicholas Pooran's Lucknow Super Giants Jerysey collectively fetched Rs 2.10 lakhs. Rahul's signed jerseys, helmet, gloves and bat among others earned Rs 32.20 lakhs.
Sanju Samson, Yuzvendra Chahal, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin's gear or equipment also attracted bids, while Marcus Stoinis' signed bat was the only quipment that was passed in the auction. Here is a look at the full sold list:
