The insights into Virat Kohli's personal life have been a national interest over the last few days since the Indian batter opted out of the first two Tests citing personal reasons.
And then a comment from his friend and former Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate AB de Villiers further escalated the matters. The South African said that Kohli is expecting his second child, which has been ruling the social media.

But amid this nationwide anticipation regarding Kohli, AB de Villiers has brought new light in the matter. The South African, who is known as Mr 360, has taken a half turn of 180 degrees and says he gave false information.
In an interaction, De Villiers opened up about his mistake and cleared that Virat Kohli is not becoming a father.
"Family comes first, as I said earlier on my YouTube channel. I also made a terrible mistake at the same time sharing false information, which was not true at all. So I just think, whatever is best for Virat, and his family comes first. No one knows what is happening there. All I can do is wish him well," de Villiers said.
"The whole world that follows Virat and enjoys his cricket, must just wish him well. Whatever the reason is for this break, hopefully, he comes back stronger and better," he added.
Virat Kohli hasn't featured in the first two Tests against England and his availability for the upcoming matches is also in question. India are currently level in the Test series 1-1 and the next match starts in Rajkot from February 15.
