Fans poured in huge numbers to witness star India batter Virat Kohli in action at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Thursday (January 30) morning as the King is all set to make his first Ranji Trophy after 13 years.
Kohli is set to don the Delhi jersey for the first time since 2012, when he takes the field for their Ranji Trophy Elite Group C clash against Railways. The anticipation surrounding his comeback has ignited a frenzy among fans, with videos of long queues outside the stadium going viral.

The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) secretary Ashok Kumar Sharma had revealed that entry would be free for the fans, and they just needed to bring the original copy of their Aadhar card to watch the King in action.
The DDCA secretary was expecting a crowd of 10,000 fans to turn up for the game, but there could be even more turning up to get a glimpse of Kohli in Ranji Trophy action. Here is a clip of fans have flocked the venue and have waited in queue to get access to the Feroz Shah Kotla.
The fans will have to, however, wait to see Kohli come out to bat as Delhi won the toss and opted to bowl first against Railways in their Ranji Trophy 2024/25 Elite Group D match on Thursday (January 30).
The King will still keep the crowds engaged with his fielding as seen during his appearances for Team India, when he gets the fans all pumped up to back the team at any stage of the match. Here is the confirmation that Kohli is part of the Delhi playing 11:
Delhi XI: Arpit Rana, Sanat Sangwan, Virat Kohli, Yash Dhull, Ayush Badoni (captain), Pranav Rajuvanshi (wicketkeeper), Sumit Mathur, Shivam Sharma, Navdeep Saini, Money Grewal, Siddhant Sharma.
