Australia vs India: Indian batting greats, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are going through a tormenting time in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy series between India and Australia as the nation's top two batters have failed to churn out runs big time.
Only Kohli has managed to score a hundred in this series but doesn't mean, he boast of a huge average. On the other hand, Rohit has been a complete mess.

In the ongoing 3rd Test in Brisbane, Kohli and Rohit managed to get a score of only 3 and 10 respectively and find themselves in a bit of a spot after hitting new low in the ongoing 2024/25 season.
With their latest scores from the Gabba Test, their first innings average has fallen down to less than 10, with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) averaging 9.12, while Rohit is even less, languishing at 8.85. For Kohli, the highest in the ongoing season has been 47, while for Rohit it's still low at 23, being his best.
The fans are clearly disappointed with the kind of performance, both the batters have put up in the ongoing series and in the Gabba Test, both also got out in similar fashion after miscuing an outside off-stump ball. Both at the fag end of their careers, many think that the time has come for the superstars to bid goodbye to the longest format as well.
As far as Day 4 action of Day 4 is considered, it was Pat Cummins, who got the hosts off to flying start after getting the wicket of the Indian captain. With 5 wickets already down for the hosts, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja took hold of the innings as they look to get India to a good total. Rahul played a gutsy knock of 84, when the chips were down, before getting dismissed by Nathan Lyon. At the time of writing this article, India were struggling at 152/6.
