Australia have put a dagger in Indian hearts by winning the ICC World Cup 2023 Final on Sunday. The hosts came into the match dreaming, which has shattered in front of an excellent Australian side.

India managed to score 240 runs batting first and the Aussies chased the total down with seven overs to spare and won the match by six wickets.

India pacer Mohammed Siraj was seen crying inconsolably after the defeat. The fast bowler has been a revelation for India but it didn't happen for him in the Final as Travis Head hammered Siraj across the ground. And after the conclusion, Siraj couldn't control his emotions and was crying inconsolably. Jasprit Bumrah came around Siraj and hugged his fellow teammate, but Siraj's tears didn't cease.

Virat Kohli was also seen numb as Australia hit their winning runs. India captain Rohit Sharma tried to console his teammates and then left the ground with his head down.
