Afghanistan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq has revealed his chat with India stalwart Virat Kohli during the ICC World Cup 2023 match between India and Afghanistan.
India are set to play Australia in the World Cup 2023 Final on Sunday. The riveting tournament is set to take its final lap at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium. Virat Kohli has been at his pinnacle in this tournament as the batter sits on top of run-scorers chart with 711 runs thus far.

Along with Kohli's batting prowess, the Indian batter also buried his hatchet with Afghanistan's Naveen-ul-Haq. The two over at the heart of controversy when they clashed in the IPL 2023 match earlier this year. During a match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore, they had a verbal spat.
But in the match between India and Afghanistan, Kohli and Naveen were seen talking and laughing, and then they hugged each other as well. And now the Afghan pacer has revealed his chat with the Indian stalwart.
During an interview with Lucknow Super Giants, Naveen revealed he had a very decent talk with Virat Kohli and the pier has decided to move on from their earlier spat.
"We got support in every game apart from that one game against India. Rather than that, we got a home kind of feeling; he told me, 'Let's finish it.' I said, Yeah, let's finish it. We laughed about it, hugged, and moved on. He also said that after this, you won't hear my name. You will only hear support from the crowd," Naveen-ul-Haq told his IPL franchise Lucknow Super Giants.
