Virat Kohli has been one of the key players in India's day-night Test journey. The former Indian skipper has taken part in all four matches the team has played in the pink-ball format.
The seasoned cricketer will be next seen in action for the upcoming day-night pink-ball Test against Australia at Adelaide Oval on December 6, Friday.

It will be quite interesting to see how he will go about his work in the next game. He scored an unbeaten century against the Aussies in the BGT opener in Perth and is expected to do well. Let's now dive into his pink-ball Test exploits.
1. The Historic Hundred at Eden Gardens (2019)
It is worth mentioning here he is the only Indian batter to score a century in day-night Tests. His journey with the pink ball began on a high note in India's first-ever day-night Test against Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The veteran scored 136 off 194 balls, laced with a flurry of 18 fours.
His knock came in a winning cause as India secured a commanding victory by an innings and 46 runs. For the record, his 136 is the joint-highest score by a captain in pink-ball Tests, tied with Joe Root.
2. Virat Kohli's resistance at Adelaide (2020)
India’s second pink-ball challenge was against Australia at the Adelaide Oval back in 2020. The Delhi-born cricketer once again showcased his resilience by scoring 74 runs, a great effort disrupted by a run-out involving Ajinkya Rahane. The veteran scored 4 runs in the second inning. It was in this game that the cricket fraternity witnessed India’s infamous collapse to 36 all out and Australia won by 8 wickets.
3. Underwhelming performances against England (2021) and Sri Lanka (2022)
Team India played their third pink-ball Test against England, in what was a low-scoring contest, which ended in just two days at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Kohli struggled to dominate in that game where he scored 27 runs. India won the low-scoring contest as they won by 10 wickets.
The veteran once again returned with low scores as he failed to make a significant impact against Sri Lanka at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. He scored 23 runs in the first innings and followed it up with 13 runs. India dominated the game and won by a huge margin of 238 runs.
