Bengaluru, Nov 20: Virat Kohli is enjoying a lot of success on the cricket field. And with this, his fan following is increasing by the day and whatever he does quickly catches his supporters' attention. Same happened on Thursday morning when Kohli's two tweets set the Twitter abuzz with fans wondering why the star batsman's page had those two surprising lines!
Exactly at 9.01 AM on November 20, Kohli tweeted to his nearly 4.5 million followers, "What have I done?". Immediately the fans started asking the right-handed batsman what it was about with many retweeting and favouriting the tweet. Later in the afternoon, he added 3 more tweets.
One of the fans, questioned, "Is this seriously Virat tweeting?". Another one wrote, "Why? what happened??".
Later, came another tweet, which read, "I think I may have done something wrogn today (sic)".
Having misspelt the word wrong as "wrogn", seemed to have interested some, one of them wrote, "Yes. You just misspelled wrong wrongly."
Another one was worried whether the twitter account was hacked. "Is your account hacked or something," she wrote.
Kohli and the rest of his Indian team-mates are set to fly to Australia tomorrow night or Saturday morning. He will captain the Test side for the first time, in the absence of MS Dhoni, who is injured. The first India-Australia Test starts in Brisbane on December 4.
Now, we have to wait to hear from Kohli what those two tweets meant. Till then, his fans will be remain nonplussed.
