Virat Kohli takes flight to London right after Victory Parade - What is the Reason?

Virat Kohli was seen leaving Mumbai just after India's victory parade at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday (July 4).

Virat Kohli has been on the move non since the Indian cricket team won the T20 World Cup last week. The team couldn't return to India immediately due to a hurricane in Barbados, but they finally landed in Delhi on Thursday and then headed to Mumbai for a grand celebration.

On Thursday night, a paparazzo account on Instagram shared a video of Virat at the Mumbai airport. He was seen exiting a black SUV and after greeting the airport staff, went straight into the departures.

The Indian cricket team faced delays due to Hurricane Beryl, which hit Barbados as a category four storm. The Grantley Adams International Airport in Bridgetown was shut for three days, leaving the squad members, support staff, their families, and media stuck in transit.

Why is Virat Kohli going to London?

As per reports, Virat Kohli is flying out to London to meet with his family. Virat's wife Anushka Sharma is currently in London with their children, Vamika and Akaay. It is being reported that the Indian batter is set to spend an extended holiday with his family.

It has been a long time since these players have got a break. Since the Test series against England, it has been continuous cricket for all of the elite Indian players. Although Anushka was present during IPL, she left USA after the Pakistan match in New York.

Anushka wasn't present in Barbados to cheer for Virat from the stands as she's busy with motherhood. She and Virat welcomed their son Akaay earlier this year in February.
