A day after his emotional announcement of retirement from Test cricket, Indian cricket icon Virat Kohli was spotted in Vrindavan alongside his wife, Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma, on May 13.
The couple visited spiritual guru Premanand Maharaj, marking yet another visit to the holy town this year. Earlier in 2025, Kohli and Anushka had travelled to Vrindavan with their children Vamika and Akaay, seeking blessings.

Kohli, who confirmed his retirement from red-ball cricket on May 12, was also seen at Mumbai airport ahead of this spiritual trip. The former Indian Test captain ends his journey as the country's fourth-highest run-scorer in Test history, a monumental career that spanned over 14 years.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Kohli reflected on his long and cherished journey in the longest format of the game.
While Kohli's chapter in Test cricket has come to an end, he is far from stepping away from the game. The 35-year-old remains active in limited-overs formats and is set to return to action when the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 resumes on May 17.
His franchise, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), will kick off the league's restart with a high-voltage clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. RCB are currently placed second on the points table, having secured eight wins from 11 matches. One more win would secure them a place in the playoffs.
Kohli has been a standout performer this season, leading RCB from the front. With 505 runs from 11 matches at an impressive average of 63.13, he's firmly in the race for the Orange Cap. His tally includes seven fifties, the most by any batter in the tournament so far, showcasing his consistency and form.
As Kohli transitions out of Test cricket, fans can still expect fireworks from the star batter in the shorter formats - both in IPL 2025 and in the months to come.
