The 34-year-old dedicated his long-awaited hundred to Anushka by kissing his wedding ring which hangs around his neck. After taking a single off Nathan Lyon and completing his hundred, the right-hander took off his helmet and showed his bat towards the dressing room and fans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. He then put his bat and helmet down and kissed the ring before gently putting it back inside his jersey.

Ahead of the fourth Test, the couple had gone to visit the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. In a video that went viral online, the couple was seen sitting inside the temple along with other devotees. Earlier, Virat and Anushka visited temples in Uttarakhand and Vrindavan.

Sunday's hundred from Kohli came off 241 balls - his second slowest in Test cricket. His 186-run knock of 364 balls helped India post 571 and take a 91-run first innings lead.
