Virat Kohli's wife Anushka Sharma was trolled and body-shamed by social media users on one of the star cricketer's posts from Barbados in the Caribbean islands.

In the picture the star couple can be seen posing in front of a restaurant named Cafe A La Mer. "Must visit in Barbados @cafealamer18 some of the best food we ever ate," Kohli has captioned the picture.

The Bollywood diva was seen in a blue oversized shirt dress with white slip-ons, while the former India captain wore a dark blue T-shirt with printed white shorts.

Virat Kohli is on a break and did not feature in the T20I series against West Indies. Majority of the fans were thrilled to get a glimpse of Kohli on his Instagram handle which boasts of 256 million followers. However, a section of fan got involved in body-shaming Anushka Sharma and criticising her dressing sense.

"Yrr paise aane ke baad log lagta hai kapdo ko value nahi dete," a fan commented.

"Anushka Sharma ji apke hath ki nashe dikh rahi kuch kha pi liya karo," commented another.

Virat Kohli completed 15 years in international cricket on Friday, August 18. On the occasion, he posted his picture taken after India's last-ball win against Pakistan at the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. "Forever grateful," he captioned the picture.

The star batter will be next seen playing in the Asia Cup 2023 which starts from August 30. India will play their first match against Pakistan in Pallekele.
