Indian cricket legend Virender Sehwag and his wife, Aarti Ahlawat, are reportedly headed for divorce after two decades of marriage. According to Hindustan Times, the couple has been living apart for several months, and sources suggest that their separation is likely to culminate in a formal divorce soon.

Sehwag and Aarti, who married in 2004, have two sons, Aryavir (born in 2007) and Vedant (born in 2010). Their union, once celebrated as a strong partnership, now appears strained.

Fans began speculating about their relationship status when the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram. Adding to the speculation, Sehwag shared photos from Diwali celebrations featuring his sons and mother but notably excluded Aarti.

In another telling sign, two weeks ago, Sehwag visited the Vishwa Nagayakshi Temple in Palakkad and shared pictures of the visit on Instagram, again with no mention of Aarti. While neither has issued an official statement regarding their separation, their public actions suggest the growing distance.

Aarti Ahlawat, a Delhi native, has largely maintained a private life. Born on December 16, 1980, she completed her education at Lady Irwin Secondary School and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan before earning a diploma in Computer Science from Maitreyi College, Delhi University. The couple's love story began in the early 2000s and culminated in a grand wedding hosted by the late Arun Jaitley, a close family friend.

For years, the couple was seen as a solid unit, navigating Sehwag's cricketing career together. Known for his explosive batting style, Sehwag retired from international cricket in 2015 and has since taken on various roles, including serving on the National Anti-Doping Agency's Anti-Doping Appeal Panel.
