Virender Sehwag Tweets questioning Modi Government then Deletes Later - Netizens slam him Darpok

What was the Virender Sehwag Tweet all about?

PM Narendra Modi and other Bharatiya Janata Party members actively encouraged Indian people to invest in PSU banks before the election result in 2024. There was a massive influx of investments across the country, who kind of believed in those words and put their money for a greater return. But Sehwag showcased that one of his staff couldn't see any return despite investing in three of the four mentioned banks by the BJP officials.

Sehwag's staff also invested around 80 per cent of the total capital and was in immense mental distress due to the persistence loss of money.

What did Sehwag Tweet?

"One of my staff had got around 1 crore after selling his ancerstral land. For 80 lakhs, he bought 3 of the 4 mentioned PSU banks in this thread- Canara bank, Bank of Baroda and Union bank a day after this tweet from our Hon PM. Costs were 120, 286, 143 respectively. He is an ardent fan of Hon PM. But now 3 months later, even as the markets hit ATH day after day, his stocks are down more than 20% and need to go up from 25-30% to arrive at his cost. He also advised his friends to buy these as PSU banks have turned around. Surprising thing is after this tweet, these 3 stocks never saw those rates again since even as the Nifty is 10% up from those levels. Various thoughts come to his mind from whether govt data tweet was to trap him, whether to trust PSU banks as all his 3 stocks keep falling. He still swears by Modi ji but is unable to fathom them falling heavily in a bull market. What would experts advice him as he is in panic as he has put in a major portion of his networth here," Sehwag tweeted.

Many have believed that the Indian cricket star was 'timid' to stand against the BJP government, while some urged him to tweet again.
