Two cricket legends, Wasim Akram and Michael Vaughan, recently shared their top three picks for the greatest Pakistani cricketers of all time.
The duo are commentating in the ODI series between Pakistan and Australia, and in a show for the broadcasters, they opened up on their favourite Pakistan players.

Michael Vaughan, former England captain, began his list with Javed Miandad at number three. He described Miandad as a 'ferocious brilliant batter' who dominated the 1980s. Vaughan noted that Miandad was often surrounded by controversy, adding depth to his cricketing persona.
"I'm going to go with someone that I watched a lot in the 80s he was ferocious brilliant batter always a bit of controversy about him Javid Miandad," said Vaughan on Fox Cricket.
For his second choice, Vaughan selected Imran Khan, Pakistan's World Cup-winning captain. He praised Imran's leadership and prowess in county cricket. Vaughan humorously remarked on Imran's charm off the field.
"Number two, Imran Khan without any question. Lifted the World Cup, revelation playing for Pakistan and he was brilliant at the county game and he could pull the chicks," added Vaughan.
Vaughan reserved his top spot for Wasim Akram, acknowledging Akram's unmatched brilliance as a cricketer. "He is my number one," Vaughan stated, highlighting Akram's status as one of history's finest fast bowlers.
When it was Akram's turn to share his picks, he humbly mentioned being instructed to include himself in the list. Despite initial embarrassment, Akram chose Waqar Younis at number three, citing Waqar's undeniable place among Pakistan's greatest cricketers.
"Look I've been told I might go off the script here. I've been told that I have to pick myself up I'm bit embarrassed to do that but number three I pick Waqar Younis," said Akram.
At number two, Akram echoed Vaughan by selecting Javed Miandad. He praised Miandad's significant contributions to Pakistan cricket and acknowledged that Miandad's name would always be associated with greatness.
"Number two is great Javed Miandad. I mean he every time you talk about greats coming out of Pakistan Javid Miandad, his name is right up there," the former Pakistan pacer added.
For his top choice, Akram picked Imran Khan, focusing on Imran's impact during his prime as an allrounder. He noted that Imran belonged to an era rich with legendary allrounders like Ian Botham and Kapil Dev.
"It's got to be Imran Khan I've seen him in his prime days as a cricketer not off the field as a Playboy but as a cricketer I mean he was a proper all-rounder then that era was an all-rounder era. Ian Botham, Richard Headley, Imran Khan and then Kapil Dev from India," Akram concluded.
