India Women pacer Arundhati Reddy was on fire in India Women's must-win match against arch-rivals Pakistan Women at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, October 6.
The 27-year-old gave a fiery send-off to former Pakistan Women captain Nida Dar. In the action-packed final over of the Pakistan innings, Dar survived a LBW review from India due to the umpire's call on the third delivery.

On the very next delivery, Arundhati Reddy cleaned the stumps of Nida Dar and gave her an ultra-aggressive send-off. The Hyderabad-born fast bowler looked at the veteran Pakistan Women cricketer and aggressively asked her to leave while pointing towards the dressing room.
Nida Dar was one of the only four Pakistan Women batters who scored in the double digits. She top-scored for his team with 28 off 34 balls, and played a key role in helping Pakistan score 105/8 in 20 overs.
After Pooja Vastrakar missed out on the crucial match due to an injury, Reddy took the onus of the pace unit on him. She also dismissed Omaima Sohail and Aliya Riaz to finish with her career best figures of 3/19 in four overs.
She found good support from other India Women bowlers, especially young off-spinner Shreyanka Patil, who picked two wickets by conceding just 12 runs in four overs.
India are looking for their first win in the Women's T20 World Cup 2024. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side lost to New Zealand Women by 58 runs in their series-opener.
