Star spinner Kuldeep Yadav visited Bageshwar Dham and took the blessings of Pandit Dhirendra Shastri days before flying to Sri Lanka for a three-match ODI series. This is Kuldeep's first meeting with Basheshwar Dham Sarkar after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 with India on June 29.
The 29-year-old had visited Bageshwar Dham ahead of the ODI World Cup 2024 as well. The video from his latest visit has gone viral on social media. Kuldeep Yadav touched the feat of Basheshwar Dham Sarkar, who introduced the spin king as the pride of India.

In the ODI World Cup 2023, Kuldeep Yadav picked 15 wickets in 11 matches, whereas in the T20 World Cup 2024, the 29-year-old chipped in with 10 wickets in five matches.
He wasn't picked in the India T20I squad which will face Sri Lanka from July 27, but has been included in the Rohit Sharma-led ODI team. India are scheduled to play three ODI matches against Sri Lanka in Colombo starting August 2.
T20 World Cup 2024 winners Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will return to action with the ODI series. Ravi Bishnoi has been named as the specialist spinner for the T20I leg in the absence of Kuldeep Yadav.
The Indian T20I team has already arrived in Sri Lanka and had their first training session under newly-appointed head coach Gautam Gambhir on Tuesday, July 23. Suryakumar Yadav will be leading the T20I side which also includes the likes of Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson, Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
