Lucknow Super Giants have unveiled their striking new jersey for the IPL 2026 season, signaling a bold new era for the franchise.

The reveal, which came shortly after the introduction of an updated team logo, has generated significant buzz among fans and cricket enthusiasts alike.

The jersey departs from the team's traditional all-blue aesthetic, embracing a vibrant design featuring prominent red and blue stripes with golden accents.

There are additional orange elements in the striping, creating a dynamic, eye-catching look that evokes comparisons to iconic kits like Barcelona's classic red-and-blue. The new emblem, incorporating the powerful symbols of Garuda (representing strength and vision), the Crown (symbolizing pride and royalty), and the Elephant (a nod to Uttar Pradesh's heritage and resilience) - is prominently displayed, embodying "UP Ki Shaan Seene Par" (the pride of UP on our chest).

Star players including captain Rishabh Pant, all-rounder Aiden Markram, and pace spearhead Mohammed Shami modeled the kit in promotional visuals, showcasing its modern fit and bold identity. The shift to red-dominant tones, possibly with subtle green hints in patterns as speculated earlier, reflects a fresh rebranding aimed at energizing the squad after recent seasons.

This redesign aligns with LSG's ambition to build on their strong core, bolstered by retained talents and strategic acquisitions, heading into IPL 2026.

This is the third type of jersey for LSG in the four years of their existence. The Super Giants had a sky blue jersey at the start, which was changed to a deeper Blue version for the last couple of seasons. Additionally, the LSG side have also worn a Maroon and Green version, primarily created in the concept of Mohun Bagan's jersey, the famous football club who are also owned by the Goenkas.
