A mindboggling incident took place in a KSCA Maharaja Trophy on Friday (August 24), which saw not One or Two, but Three Super Overs in a single match.
The Hubli Tigers took on the Bengaluru Blasters in a KSCA Maharaja Trophy at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, which had a thrilling finish.

In the first innings, Hubli Tigers set a total of 164 with significant contributions from Mohammed Taha, Manish Pandey, and Aneeshwar Gautam. Lavish Kaushal stood out for the Bengaluru Blasters with a remarkable five-wicket haul, conceding just 17 runs in his four overs. Blasters chase was wayward but they somehow managed to level the score and took the game to Super Over.
During the first Super Over, the Blasters batted first but faced an early setback when their captain Mayank Agarwal was dismissed on the first ball by LR Kumar. Despite this, Aniruddha Joshi managed to hit a six on the final delivery, bringing their total to 10 runs.
Manish Pandey and Manvanth Kumar then took to the crease for the Tigers. Pandey's experience shone through as he struck a six on the fourth delivery. With two runs needed from two balls, Lavish Kaushal bowled a dot ball but Pandey secured a single on the last ball to push the game into another Super Over.
In the second Super Over, Pandey and Kumar faced Naveen MG but struggled to find boundaries, setting a target of 9 runs. Vidhwath Kaverappa bowled for the Tigers in response. The Blasters started strong with a boundary from LR Chetan but were soon pegged back by a run-out enforced by Pandey. Needing four runs from three balls, Suraj Ahuja and Aniruddha Joshi could only manage singles, leading to yet another Super Over.
Manvanth Kumar was tasked with bowling for Hubli Tigers in the third Super Over and immediately dismissed Aniruddha Joshi. Shubang Hegde hit a six on the final delivery to set a target of 13 runs for Hubli Tigers.
Kranthi Kumar bowled for Bengaluru Blasters while Manvanth Kumar took strike. After scoring two runs on the first ball and hitting a boundary on the second, Manvanth turned over strike to Manish Pandey. A wide ball followed by another single brought them closer to victory. With 4 runs needed in the last ball, Manvanth swept on the leg side and found the fence, giving Hubli Tigers a memorable victory.
With the victory, the Tigers remain on top of the table with 10 points in six matches. The Bengaluru Blasters are current 3rd in the table with 8 points in six matches.
