Kolkata, April 3: Kuldeep Yadav, the new sensation in Indian spin bowling, has come out of his dream debut in the Dharamsala Test match against Australia.
He reached Kolkata on late Sunday (April 2) evening and quite silently. That is why there was no fanfare when Kuldeep arrived in Kolkata from Kanpur.

However, the 22-year old spinner did not forget to inform that his family at Kanpur had thrown a big party at home after Yadav returned from Dharamsala.
Still, when asked about how he was enjoying his success, the left-arm china-man spinner looked firm in his opinion saying,"I have just entered a step in highest level of the game. There are miles to go before I say that I have succeeded."
The spinner, whose variety in bowling confused Australian batsmen in the last Test and guided India to a formidable victory, does not want him to be called 'mystery' spinner at all.
Rather he said, “I am not like that. I am a bowler who tries to follow the basics. You may call me mystery spinner. But before behaving mysterious with the ball I must have to be accurate in maintaining the line and length. I believe in that philosophy."
Kuldeep heaped praises upon his India captain, Virat Kohli.
He said, “Unless I had not watched Kohli's movement off the field, I would not have believed the myth that Virat bhai had united the team alone with such tremendous spirit. I could not believe that a captain and batsman with that stature and fame, was coming into the field, carrying drinks for us in the break. He himself set the example of team spirit and after having watched him personally I now want to work harder.
Yadav added, “Not only that, after I got into the squad, replacing captain himself, Virat bhai patted on my back and after the end of the Test he hugged me for my performance. But at the same time, he advised me not to flow out of emotions. It will make me complacent. I am truly indebted to him."
