Srinagar, Feb 27 (PTI) Sachin Tendulkar''s fine centuryin the World Cup match against England today has leftJammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah, an ardent fanof the champion batsman, delighted.
"If there is a better sight on a cricket pitch thanTendulkar in full flow, I haven''t seen it yet," Omar wrote onmicro-blogging site Twitter soon after the batsman scored his47th OODI century at Bangalore''s Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Omar took the opportunity to hit out at newspapers, whichhad drawn curtains on Tendulkar''s career when he hit a roughpatch a few years ago.
"And yet I can''t help but remember all those ENDulkarheadlines in the newspapers when he hit a bad patch a fewyears ago. Way to go Sachin," Omar wrote.
