We won't take Chennai Super Kings lightly: Warne

Chennai, May 23 (UNI) Rajasthan Royals Captain and Coach Shane Warne today said his team cannot afford to take Chennai Super Kings lightly when both the teams come face-to-face tomorrow.

Talking to newspersons here today after a practice session, he said ''Chennai Super Kings is a very good team and we dont want to take any chances with him.

''They (Chennai Super Kings) are desparate to win to reach semi-finals and we cannot afford to experiment much with them tomorrow,'' he added.

However, the legendary leg spinner hinted at a couple of changes to give chances to other players who 'didn't play much.' Warne's team were the first to qualify for the semi-finals and lead the table with 18 points, having completed nine wins in a row.

''There would be a couple of changes in the team tommorow. It is important to give opportunity to other players also to perform.

''It is great to be back and I'm really enjoying working with the players of the Royals. We got off to a bad start with two losses. We weren't given much of a chance, but we surprised a lot of people.

Warne said the team have really bonded well and there was excellent team spirit among the players.

''Everybody knows what they have to do and each player is clear on what his responsibilities are. Playing cricket in India throws up real challenges,'' he said.
