Wedding Bells for Kuldeep Yadav? Here's What We Know So Far

By Siddhika Prajapati

India spinner Kuldeep Yadav has shared some exciting insights into his personal life following his triumphant return to Kanpur, just a day after celebrating Team India's T20 World Cup victory in Mumbai.

Fresh off his stellar performance, where he claimed 10 wickets during the tournament, Kuldeep was greeted by a sea of adoring fans who arranged fireworks, Dhols, and music to honour their hometown hero. Amidst the celebrations, Kuldeep revealed some interesting tidbits about his impending marriage plans.

Kuldeep Yadav Marriage

Kuldeep Yadav's revelation about his potential marriage has added a cherry on top of his celebratory return. The spinner, who bowled like a dream during the T20 World Cup, is now preparing to bowl over his fans with wedding news.

'You will hear good news soon'

In an interview with NDTV, Kuldeep discussed his marriage plans, clarifying that his future spouse would not be from Bollywood. "You'll hear good news soon, but she won't be an actress. It's important that she can care for me and my family", Kuldeep shared during the interview.

Team India received a grand reception from fans in Mumbai, and a similar celebration awaited Kuldeep upon his return to Kanpur. Earlier, the players had the honour of meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi before departing for Mumbai.

There, they enjoyed an open-bus victory parade from Marine Drive to the iconic Wankhede Stadium, amidst cheers and chants from thousands of passionate supporters.

At Wankhede Stadium, the Men in Blue were felicitated with a prize money of Rs 125 crore by BCCI officials. The event featured speeches from players highlighting their achievements in the T20 World Cup, followed by celebrations where players danced joyously. The evening concluded with a victory lap to the tune of 'Vande Mataram', the country's national song.

The journey back to India was organized by BCCI secretary Jay Shah, with the flight departing from hurricane-affected Barbados and landing in Delhi early morning on Thursday. The flight included BCCI officials and members of the media who covered the tournament.

Though he's tight-lipped about the details, we must admit that his bride won't be from the glitzy world of Bollywood. Kuldeep emphasized the importance of family values and the need for his future wife to care for him and his loved ones, painting a picture of a man deeply rooted in tradition despite his international cricketing fame.
