West Indies vs Ireland women Live Streaming, Women's T20 World Cup West Indies and Ireland will face off in Group B in hunt for their first win of the Women's T20 World Cup in Cape Town on Friday (February 17).

Both West Indies and Ireland are down at the bottom of the table with two consecutive losses each and must win the match to stay alive in the title hunt. Ireland, who shocked Australia in the warm-ups, were handed a reality check by England and Pakistan with heavy defeats. West Indies had more of a respectable defeats at the hands of group toppers England and India.

To make it worse for Windies, their captain Hayley Matthews and fellow opener Stafanie Taylor were injured during their latest defeat to India and are yet to be fit for the game.

Their probable absence could severely weakened the side as Matthews has been the top performer for the side with the bat in the recent past while Taylor found form with an innings of 42 for the losing cause against India.

Ireland top-order has its issue with Amy Hunter misfiring while Gaby Lewis saw her good run of form come to and end with an odd innings of 10 runs. Orla Prendergast remained consistent with a good outing of 31 runs but once again failed to turn his good start into a big knock.

Skipper Laura Delany's form has been de-escalating as well with two back-to-back poor knocks.

The story is no dissimilar in bowling with Cara Murphy going wicket-less after taking 3/15 against Australia in the last game. Arlene Kelly, however, found some worth in the wicket with two dismissals to her name.
