West Indies win toss, put India into bat
Chennai, Jan 27 (UNI) West Indies skipper Brian Lara won the toss and put India into bat in the third ODI at the M A Chidambaram Stadium here today.
India made five changes in the team that won the low-scoring affair at Cuttack bringing in Yuvraj Singh, Anil Kumble, Robin Uthappa, Suresh Raina and S Sreesanth in place of Saurav Ganguly, Harbhajan Singh, M S Dhoni, Zaheer Khan and Joginder Sharma.
West Indies also made three changes with Lara himself coming in along with batsman Lendl Simmons and all rounder Rayad Emrit.
Emrit, a left hander and right arm bowler, makes his debut.
He is the 133rd West Indian player to don the maroon cap. Those, who were rested were Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Dwayne Smith and Ian Bradshaw.
Lara had missed out the last match due to injury.
