In a stunning display of raw talent and fearless batting, 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has taken the cricketing world by storm once again this time in the international stage.
Representing India U-19 in the recently concluded Youth ODI series against England U-19, Suryavanshi not only played a pivotal role in India's 3-2 series win under Ayush Mhatre's captaincy but also shattered multiple world records - some of which had stood for years.

The explosive batter has taken his IPL form into the international stage and boy did he perform well. Here's a look at the world records the young sensation broke during the five-match series:
Suryavanshi became the first player in U-19 ODI history to score over 300 runs in a bilateral series while maintaining a strike rate exceeding 150. Across five matches, he amassed 355 runs at an average of 71 and an unbelievable strike rate of 174.01 - a never-before-seen combination at this level.
In the fourth ODI, Suryavanshi raced to a century in just 52 balls - the fastest ever in Youth ODI history. His whirlwind knock stunned fans and left opposition bowlers with no answers. The previous record was comfortably eclipsed.
Suryavanshi's innings of 143 from 78 balls (strike rate: 183.33) is now the highest strike rate recorded for a 140-plus score in Youth ODIs. This record broke Pakistan's Kamran Ghulam's 66-ball 102 against England in 2013.
In the third ODI, the prodigy scored 86 off just 31 balls - a strike rate of 277.41 - making it the fastest 80+ score in Youth ODI history. He broke Suresh Raina's record of 90 off 38 balls against Scotland in the 2004 U-19 World Cup.
With one century, one half-century, and an overall domination with the bat, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has firmly announced his arrival on the world stage. If these performances are anything to go by, India may have unearthed its next cricketing superstar.
