The Indian cricket team took the entire country into an emotional ecstasy after winning the T20 World Cup 2024. Rohit Sharma and his men beat South Africa in the final by 7 runs to etch the name in history as India lifted their 2nd T20 World Cup title.
The entire country went into celebration mode after the amazing achievement from the team. From celebrities to normal citizens, the whole 1.4 billion of the nation tasted the sweet redemption and it was indeed an emotional moment for all of the Indians.

It is India's first ICC title since their Champions Trophy win in 2013. The first World Cup win since the 50-over World Cup triumph in 2011, and the first T20 World Cup glory after a gap of 17 years.
Hence, when those gladiators get their touchdown in the country, it is expected that a massive celebration will also take place here.
At the moment, the arrival of the Indian team is delayed. A severe Hurricane named 'Beryl' has devastated Barbados and the entire team is stranded in the island country. The players and the staff will have to wait a bit more before their flight back to home.
Team India was set to land in Mumbai on July 2, but due to the Hurricane 'Beryl', the plans have changed. BCCI secretary Jay Shah is overseeing the transport and the entire Indian contingent is expected to take their flight from Barbados. A chartered flight is being arranged and the team will now land straight to New Delhi from Barbados.
The Indian team may arrive in the country in the afternoon on Wednesday (July 3). The team is also likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
Team India is expected to have a huge celebration in New Delhi. Although none of the programme is confirmed, they are likely to have an open-top bus parade after their arrival.
