Ravindra Jadeja bagged a fifer against South Africa as Team India made South Africa surrender by reducing them inside the 100-run mark. Shami picked up a couple of wickets, and so was Kuldeep Yadav, who also claimed two wickets.

While interacting with the media persons as he became the second bowler after Yuvraj Singh to bag a five-wicket haul in an ODI World Cup match, Ravindra Jadeja spoke about the bowling conditions in Kolkata.

The Saurashtra all-rounder - about the Eden track behaviour in both the innings - said, "I think when they were bowling, it was more healthy. I think the turn was more and the bounce of the wicket was less. But now, if you ask me personally, the wicket in the afternoon and now - now it was a little easier.

"I won't say easy, but it was fine. But in the afternoon, there was a turn and it was slow, so batsmen couldn't hit. But credit to Virat and the middle-order batsmen who handled their spinners, it was very good."

Jadeja further claimed that the past experience of playing in Kolkata helped them and said, "We have an idea that whenever we come to Kolkata, the bounce is less and the spin is also there. So maybe that was an advantage that we knew that there will be spin and the wicket will be played slowly. Mentally we were prepared with this."
