Kranti Goud has given India women a fantastic start in their 1st ODI against England women on Wednesday (July 16).
The India pacer has picked up two wickets in the England match, getting the scalps of both openers Tammy Beaumont and Amy Jones.

Kranti Goud is a promising Indian cricketer who has quickly risen through the ranks as a pace-bowling all-rounder. Hailing from a conservative rural background in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, her rise is an inspiring story of determination, family support, and sheer talent.
She was called up into the Indian national team in April 2025 as a replacement for the injured Kashvee Gautam, she earned her international debut on 11 May 2025 during the final of the Sri Lanka Tri-Nation Series. Her promising rise continued as she was named in both the ODI and T20I squads for the home series against England in July 2025. She made her T20I debut on 12 July 2025.
