The India women team handed debut to another player in the senior team as Pratika Rawal has made her debut against West Indies women on December 22 in the 1st ODI in Vadodara.
The young player, who has been making waves in women's cricket, thus became the 150th Indian women's player to don the ODI jersey.

Pratika Rawal is an Indian cricketer who was born on September 1, 2000. She plays for Delhi in the domestic circuit and is an opening batter.
Pratika did not always dream of being a cricketer. She was a psychology student who loved studying. Although she started her cricket journey at 10, it was only during her college days when soon she realized she had a special talent for it. She decided to follow her passion and work hard to become a professional cricketer.
Once Pratika focused on cricket, her performance was amazing. In 2021, she played a memorable match for Delhi, scoring 161 runs from 155 balls against Assam in Dehradun. This inning grabbed everyone's attention. In her first domestic season, she scored 247 runs with an average of 49.50.
Over the next two years, she became one of the best players in domestic cricket. In the 2022-23 season, she scored 552 runs in 14 matches with five half-centuries. The following season, she scored 411 runs in just 7 innings, including two centuries and two fifties, with an average of 68.50.
After making her debut in the first match, Pratika played a brilliant knock of 40 runs in 62 balls. Despite a slow start, she showcased some decent shot-making and ended up adding some important runs on debut. Her knock had 4 boundaries in it.
In the second match on December 24, Pratika has shown her mettle as a hard-hitting batter. Opening the innings again, the Delhi player scored her maiden half-century in international cricket. She scored 76 runs in 86 deliveries and already hit 10 boundaries and 1 six in her knock.
