Sana Javed, the 30-year-old Pakistani actress, is the third wife of veteran cricketer Shoaib Malik. She made headlines on Saturday, January 20 after the former Pakistan cricket team captain made the news of his marriage with her official on Instagram.

"Alhamdulillah ❤️ And We created you in pairs," Shoiab Malik, who was earlier married to Indian tennis icon Sania Mirza, captioned two of his pictures from the wedding ceremony. The actress soon updated her Instagram name to Sana Shoaib Malik.

Sana Javed was born in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on March 25, 1993 to Pakistani parents. The family traces its origin from Kashmir. A few reports also claim that she has her paternal roots in Hyderabad, India. Sana completed her schooling at Pakistan International School in Jeddah before moving to Lahore. She graduated from Karachi University.

She began her career as a young model and appeared in TV commercials before making his acting debut in 2012 in the spiritual romantic drama serial Shehr-e-Zaat. Mahira Khan played the lead role in the TV serial.

She made his debut on the big screen with a romantic comedy movie. Sana was praised for her role as Dr. Sameera, a rape survivor, in Rubina Ashraf’s crime drama Ruswai. Her performance saw her win awards for Best Television Actress Critics Choice at the 1st Pakistan International Screen Awards 2020 and Favorite Actress in a role of Nand at ARY People’s Choice Awards 2021.

Sana Javed First Marriage

Sana Javed married actor and singer Umair Jaswal in an intimate Nikah ceremony in 2020. However, Sana Javed and the 37-year-old lead singer of rock band Qayaas, parted ways in November 2023.

Shoaib Malik wished Sana Javed a happy birthday in March 2023. He shared a picture with Sana with a caption which read, “Happy Birthday Buddy @sanajaved.official."

Sana Javed has 8.4 million followers on Instagram in comparison to 2 million of Malik. She herself follows 304 handles. Apart from Malik, she also follows former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed among cricketers.

Five-feet-seven-inch tall Sana Javed has two siblings. Brother Abdullah Javed and sister Hina Javed are also actors. Madhuri Dixit is Sana's favourite actress.
