A Pakistani TV presenter named Zainab Abbas has been reportedly deported to Pakistan from India.
The Pakistani anchor was an official presenter for the ICC World Cup 2023, but some of her old social media activities has landed her in trouble and she has now been sent to her country.

Who is Zainab Abbas?
Zainab Abbas is a Pakistani Television Host, Sports presenter. She was born in Lahore and completed her business studies from universities in England - namely Aston University and University of Warwick.
The 35-year-old has worked as a presenter for different broadcasting channels and since 2021, she was working as a presenter for England based broadcasters Sky Sports.
Zainab has worked for Star Sports as well and was present as the presentor in the recently-concluded Asia Cup 2023.
Why is Zainab Abbas being deported?
Zainab Abbas, a sports presenter from Pakistan, has allegedly been expelled from India, preventing her from participating in the ongoing ICC World Cup coverage.
This development follows her previous derogatory comments about the Hindu community, which have sparked outrage. Recently, a cyber complaint had been filed against Zainab for her derogatory remarks about Hindus and India on the social media platform X.
As a result of her deportation from India, she is currently residing in Dubai, according to Pakistani media reports.
A Supreme Court advocate named Vineet Jindal filed a complaint against Zainab for her anti-India comments, and as a result, she has now been expelled from India and won't be able to cover the World Cup.
Zainab actually made a derogatory comment on a Hindu Goddess and her heretic act has led to her departure from India.
