The Entertainers Cricket League 2025 saw an underwhelming final as Chennai Smashers secured a dominant victory over Bangalore Bashers on Sunday (March 16).
The Smashers beat the Bashers by 10 wickets to win the inaugural ECL title in Delhi.

Bangalore Bashers batted first and got bundled out for 83 runs. Captain Abhishek Malhan got dismissed for a duck and they lost early wickets. Ketan Patel scored 24 runs and then Tanush Sethi scored 25 but they kept on losing wickets at regular intervals. For Chennai, Shubham Matta and M Keshwala picked up 3 wickets each and crippled the batting of their opponents.
In the run chase, it was utter domination from the Chennai batters. Openers Gulshan Nain and Rahul Bisht were unstoppable and chased the target within 5 overs. Nain remained unbeaten on 53 runs in just 21 deliveries, hitting 4 fours and 6 sixes in the process. Bisht also remained unbeaten for 25 runs in just 9 deliveries as Smashers completed a dominant win to clinch the inaugural ECL title.
