Who won IPL 2023 Final: The marquee clash of the IPL 2023 season saw Chennai Super Kings defeat Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Monday (May 29). The match result came a day after its schedule as the final was postponed by a day after incessant rain on Sunday.
MS Dhoni's CSK equalled Mumbai Indians' record of winning the IPL title five times as the match went down the final ball with Ravindra Jadeja doing the star turn. The southpaw shot a six and a four off the last two balls while facing Mohit Sharma with 10 runs needed off two balls.

MS Dhoni, who probably played his last IPL or professional match, had an anti-climax with the bat as he was out for a golden duck as the two-time World Cup winner came out to bat in the death overs while chasing. He did leave his mark in the game as he did a lightning-quick stumping of in-form batter Shubman Gill early in the Gujarat Titans innings.
The match, after seeing incessant rain on Sunday, was truncated by rain again. CSK were asked to chase down a reduced total in 15 overs as the match was delayed by more than two hours due to a wet outfield right after CSK began their chase.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) - 214/4 in 20 overs vs Gujarat Titans (GT) - 171/5 in 15 overs. Result - CSK won by five wickets and 0 balls to spare (D/L Method).
