In Yesterday's ICC World Cup 2023 match, Australia took on Pakistan at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
It was the Match 18 of the World Cup 2023 and both teams played their fourth match of the tournament. Australia won the match by 62 runs and thus registered consecutive victories in the tournament, while Pakistan suffered consecutive defeats.

Australia amassed a mammoth total of 367 for 9 in their full quota of 50 overs. David Warner and Mitchell Marsh scored centuries each. Warner scored 163 off just 124 balls, while Marsh scored 121 off just 108 balls. The pair added 259 runs for the opening wicket and hit a combined 18 sixes (9 each).
Pakistan pulled off the things at the latter half and left-arm pacer Shaheen Afridi picked up five wickets.
Pakistan made a decent start but kept losing wickets after their opening partnership of 134 runs was broken. Adam Zampa picked up 4 wickets while Pat Cummins and Marcus Stoinis picked up two wickets each. In the end, Pakistan were bundled out for 305 runs.

Australia batter David Warner scored 163 runs off just 124 balls. He hit 14 fours and 9 sixes in his magnificent inning.

Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi picked up a five-fer in the match. On a hard Bengaluru deck, Afridi had a superb figure of 5/54 in his ten overs.
Australia opener David Warner won the Player of the Match award for his brilliant batting display against Pakistan.
