Who Won The Toss Today, NZ vs NED World Cup 2023 Match 6: Netherlands won the toss and elected to bowl first against New Zealand in match number six of the World Cup 2023 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Monday, October 9.

New Zealand, who defeated England by nine wickets in the World Cup 2023 opener, are playing their first match at the venue. Netherlands kicked off their campaign at the same venue against Pakistan and lost by 81 runs. However, they managed to bundle out Pakistan for 286 in 49 overs.

New Zealand are high on confidence after registering a thumping win against defending champions England. In the absence of Kane Williamson, opener Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra slammed unbeaten hundreds to help England chase 283 in just 36.2 overs.

Kane Williamson will be sitting out today as well. He has recovered well from his knee injury and is just giving himself some more time to get back in action. The New Zealand captain is very likely to make a comeback in his side's third match against Bangladesh on Friday.
